More COVID-19 Information and Previous Updates

Parents – Thank you for your quick replies to the email yesterday, March 24, regarding your home WIFI access. We’re receiving good information from you that is greatly helping us put in place what we now know will be the need to use remote learning our first week back from spring break, April 13-17.
More details will be coming regarding the approaches we’ll use April 13-17 so you and your students can prepare. If you’ve yet to reply to yesterday’s email, please do so as soon as possible, letting us know if you do not have WIFI access, and if you will have challenges in providing devices (i.e., PCs, laptops, etc.) for your students to use at home. Although, we have access to limited devices, we will try our best to provide those with no devices. Once this information is collected we will be able to determine the best arrangements for offering school attendance options to ensure our students are learning in the most effective ways possible.
Also, for April 13-17, free, cold-lunch combo meals for students and their siblings, ages 1-18, will be available daily for curbside pickup at the school between 10:30 am –Noon while supplies last. The meals are to be taken and not consumed on site. Children must be present to receive a free meal.
If you know of parents who might not be receiving these emails for some reason, please let us know, so we can contact them another way, or please ask them to call the school office. We want to make sure everyone is receiving these updates. The way in which our school community is coming together has been incredible and we appreciate all our efforts in helping each other. Thank you for your ongoing support.
We will keep updating you as we approach April 13, and we will be working with families individually as necessary to ensure all our students have access to their education that week. Please keep checking your email inbox, the school website and Facebook for information.

Padres: gracias por sus rápidas respuestas al correo electrónico de ayer, 24 de marzo, con respecto al acceso WIFI de su hogar. Recibimos buena información suya que nos ayuda en gran medida a poner en práctica lo que ahora sabemos será la necesidad de utilizar el aprendizaje remoto nuestra primera semana de regreso del receso de primavera, del 13 al 17 de abril.
Llegarán más detalles sobre los enfoques que usaremos del 13 al 17 de abril para que usted y sus alumnos puedan prepararse. Si aún no ha respondido al correo electrónico de ayer, hágalo lo antes posible, infórmenos si no tiene acceso a WIFI y si tendrá problemas para proporcionar dispositivos (es decir, PC, computadoras portátiles, etc.) para sus alumnos para usar en casa. Aunque, tenemos acceso a dispositivos limitados, haremos todo lo posible para proporcionar a los que no tienen dispositivos. SPRING PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES CANCELLED
Parents – Due to continuing concerns regarding Corornavirus/COVID-19 and our efforts to prevent the introduction and spread of the virus in our school and among our families, spring parent-teacher conferences have been cancelled. If you have concerns regarding your student and would like to meet with her/his teacher(s) before the end of the school year, please contact the teacher to arrange a time to meet. Likewise, if there are students in which teachers are concerned, their parents will be contacted by the teacher. Thank you for your understanding and care as we continue to keep our school community safe and healthy.

***Liberty will be switching to a new lunch software. There will be a New Pay for Student Meals Online.
You can set up your account as early as 1/16/2020, but will not be able to use it until January 23rd. We will ask that you don’t add money the old ezschoolpay after that date. Any money left on the ezschoolpay will be transferred on January 22nd.***
