LIBERTY CHARTER SCHOOL
Home of the Patriots

During our spring break, national media stories reported about tragic teen suicides that apparently occurred as a result of students being relentlessly bullied and/or harassed at their schools with little to no peer or adult intervention. At Liberty, we are committed to maintaining a school environment where every child is able to come to school without fear of teasing, taunting, or bullying. We take this charge seriously and never want to see what is routinely accepted at many other schools as “just a part of growing up” as accepted here. We want our students to go out into the world as not only great employees, but also great citizens and compassionate individuals. As a result, our aim is to model as adults acceptable behavior, and to recognize students who model that behavior while swiftly and appropriately addressing inappropriate behavior.

Please take a couple of minutes to complete (and return) this short, anonymous survey on school safety so that we can continue to monitor our efforts in mitigating any opportunity for students to feel unsafe while at school.
