Apprenticeship Program

At Liberty Charter High School, students must earn 4 academic credits through work in the community with a professional in their area of interest. This is accomplished by the completion of a 30 hour apprenticeship placement during their sophomore year, a 30 hour apprenticeship placement during their junior year, and a 60 hour apprenticeship placement during their senior year of high school.  Sophomores may also earn their first credit through the completion of 3 ten hour job shadow placements.  Applications for both placements are below.

We believe that when our students are able to learn real life lessons outside the classroom, they will be much better prepared to enter the work force after they complete their education.  Mrs. Schmidt is our Apprenticeship Coordinator and can be reached at dbower@libertycharterschool.com if you have any questions.
