Science Teacher: 2nd-9th grades

Liberty Charter School is taking applications and resumes for a certified, highly-qualified, full-time science teacher for the 2nd-9th grades beginning in the 2025-2026 school year. The salary schedule is $65,000-$85,000 annually and includes benefits. Liberty is a tuition-free, Idaho public charter school that has been in successful operation since 1998 in Nampa, Idaho. Liberty is the founding Harbor Method School and offers a complete K-12 education within Idaho’s public education system. It is among the State’s safest and highest-performing schools. The school offers a range of extra-curricular activities including sports and clubs, and operates on a modified, year-round schedule that offers a two-week break in October, the full week of Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, a two-week spring break, and a nine-week summer.

Additionally, Liberty Charter School District #458 will not tolerate Sexual Misconduct in any form. Liberty will promptly and equitably respond to all reports of Sexual Misconduct in order to take steps to eliminate the misconduct, prevent its recurrence, and address its effects on any individual or the school community.

Part-time Elementary Grades Paraprofessional

               The school is taking applications for a part-time (3.5 hours, M-F, mornings) paraprofessional for the elementary grades. The pay is $15 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to support classroom teachers, pass a background check, and meet the State paraprofessional requirements, which include either having completed two years of college study (32 college credits), or having earned an associate’s degree or higher. A person may also qualify to work as a paraprofessional if she/he passes a state-approved paraprofessional assessment.
