Liberty Charter Fall Sports Important Dates/News
● All incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade students MUST have a new doctor’s physical. Any other students that haven’t played a sport before must have a doctor’s physical regardless of grade.
● A new Athletic Handbook must be completed for the 2023-24 year. These will be available in paper form in August and will be available in a fillable PDF on our website soon.
● There will be a fall sports parent information meeting Thursday, August 3, 6:00 P.M. in the McKnight-Bryant Center. This is for high school and junior high cross country and volleyball.
● High school cross country and volleyball begin Monday, August 7. Times TBA.
● Senior/Junior registration is Tuesday, August 8 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. You will be able to pay your Activity Fee that day.
● Sophomore/Freshmen registration is Wednesday, August 9 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. You will be able to pay your Activity Fee that day.
● First day of school is Monday, August 14
● Junior high cross country and volleyball begin Wednesday, August 16.

Attention Student-Athletes:
All students wishing to go out for a team must have a current physical on file with Mr. Wachsmuth.  Each family will need to read and complete an Athletic Handbook, pay a $40 activity fee per high school aged child in order to start practice, and each student-athlete must have a valid doctor's physical.  All 9th and 11th graders must have a new physical dated on or after May 1, 2022, per IHSAA rules.  All three of those things will need to be completed before any student can start practice.  If you have any questions, please email Mr. Wachsmuth at mwachsmuth@libertycharterschool.com.
